Field Traditions
Campaign // Rooted in the American outdoors
Field Traditions is a premium American sporting and lifestyle brand built on heritage, craftsmanship, and life lived outdoors. Designed for those who value tradition without pretence, the brand sits at the intersection of hunting culture, field-to-table living, and refined lodge style. The brand identity, website, and strategic foundations were created by our sister agency, The Brand Muse, shaping a cohesive world ready to be brought to life visually.
The North Dakota campaign was designed to do exactly that - capturing the spirit of Field Traditions in its natural environment. This was not about staged perfection, but about authenticity: real places, real moments, and imagery that reflects how the brand is genuinely lived and used.
The Brief & Creative Direction
The brief centred on immersion. Field Traditions needed content that felt honest, expansive, and deeply rooted in the American landscape - imagery that could carry the brand through an entire year of marketing while reinforcing its position within the sporting lifestyle space.
Shot across North Dakota’s open plains and hunting grounds, the creative direction focused on everyday rituals: early mornings, coffee by the truck, dogs at heel, time spent outdoors, and evenings back at the lodge. The visual language leaned into warmth, texture and scale - telling a story of tradition, independence and understated refinement.
The Shoot & Deliverables
Led by Chloe on location, the North Dakota shoot delivered a substantial library of campaign imagery and lifestyle content designed to work hard across Field Traditions’ entire ecosystem.
The final asset suite supports website content, email marketing, social media, paid campaigns and long-term brand storytelling - providing Field Traditions with a versatile, high-impact visual foundation that will continue to serve the brand season after season.
Behind The Lens
This shoot was shaped by place and pace. Long days, changing light and vast landscapes allowed the content to unfold naturally, with minimal interference and a strong documentary edge.
By working within real environments - rather than constructed sets - the imagery feels grounded and believable. Movement, atmosphere, and quiet moments were prioritised, resulting in visuals that feel timeless, cinematic and deeply connected to Field Traditions’ values.
